Field Officer - Magarini

About the role

The Field Officer will serve as the primary point of contact for Tuishi Companion Ltd in the Magarini region, working directly with households, local businesses and community organisations to promote the company’s medical insurance and last‑expense cover solutions. This role involves both outreach and support activities, ensuring that members understand their benefits and receive timely assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Register new members by collecting personal information, verifying eligibility, and entering data into the company’s system accurately.
• Conduct educational sessions in villages, markets and churches to explain Medical Cover, Last Expense Cover and the In‑kind Envelope benefits.
• Guide members through the claims process, help them complete required forms, and activate services promptly.
• Identify and develop new partnership opportunities to grow Tuishi’s presence across estates, hospitals, workplaces and other community hubs.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
• Highly self‑motivated, able to plan daily activities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Currently residing in Kenya’s Coast Region or willing to relocate to the Magarini area for the duration of the assignment.
• Genuine passion for community service and a strong desire to improve access to affordable health coverage.
