Field Partnerships Lead – Nairobi (Agritech & Automation)

About the role

Nethermind is seeking a Nairobi‑based Field Partnerships Lead to identify and develop agritech, drone, robotics and farm‑automation collaborations in Kenya. The role starts on a part‑time, advisory or project basis and may evolve into a full‑time position once a field pilot is launched.

Key responsibilities

• Map Kenya’s agricultural technology, large‑farm, drone, robotics and field‑automation ecosystem.
• Identify and engage potential field‑testing partners such as farms, agribusinesses, drone operators, robotics groups, universities and investors.
• Support pilot planning, partner selection, site visits and local introductions.
• Assist in evaluating field data collection, machine utilisation, maintenance, operator training and ROI assumptions.
• Represent Nethermind locally when appropriate and convey practical field conditions, regulatory issues and customer needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in at least one of: agriculture, agritech, large‑farm operations, drone operations, robotics, precision agriculture or field automation.
• Strong network within Nairobi or Kenya’s agritech, drone, robotics or large‑farm ecosystem.
• Ability to build trust with local partners and understand deployment constraints.
• Fluent English; Swahili preferred.
• Willingness to travel to farms and field sites.
