Field Sales Manager

About the role

Solar Panda Kenya is a fast‑growing clean‑tech company delivering solar home systems to families without electricity. The Field Sales Manager will lead a team of commission‑based sales agents, driving sales of solar lighting and appliance solutions across the assigned shop area.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, motivate and mentor a team of field sales agents.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and lead‑generation initiatives.
• Monitor daily performance of agents, provide coaching and ensure active selling.
• Prepare regular sales reports for the Area Sales Manager.
• Identify training needs and coordinate programs with HR.
• Coordinate with the shop administrator to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Track market trends, customer behavior and competitor activity and share insights.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in field or direct sales.
• College diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a sales team.
• Strong integrity, work ethic and respect for customers and colleagues.
