Field Site Representative – Pratt & Whitney Engine Support

About the role

The Field Site Representative (FSR) will provide technical assistance, mentorship, and training to Kenyan Air Force personnel for Pratt & Whitney engine maintenance on C-145 aircraft. This on‑site role supports inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance while advising on logistics and program development to boost operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Assist KAF personnel with inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Pratt & Whitney engines.
• Provide mentorship on engine systems, subsystems, and related technical procedures.
• Advise on logistics, inventory management, provisioning, and spare‑parts sourcing.
• Support development of maintenance, logistics, tool control, calibration, and quality‑control programs.
• Resolve warranty issues with the OEM and deliver on‑site technical guidance and training.
• Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, logs, and technical libraries.
• Conduct trend analysis, audits, and documentation reviews; prepare reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. passport.
• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Pratt & Whitney engines (maintenance, inspection, repair, or overhaul).
• Minimum 5 years applying maintenance directives and using technical data.
• At least 2 years delivering maintenance or logistics training to foreign militaries.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
