About the role
Green Earth is seeking a Finance & Accounts Officer to ensure disciplined financial management across its environmental restoration projects in Kenya. You will be responsible for tracking all incoming and outgoing funds, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the Country Director with timely financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure all incoming funds are correctly recorded and protected on the day they are received.
- Review and approve payment requests against approved budgets, confirming that invoices and supporting documentation are complete before processing.
- Oversee the Income & Receipts, Disbursements & Payments, and Records, Assets & Financial Reports functions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for the Country Director and Holding Finance, and be able to answer “where does that transaction stand?” at any moment.
