Finance Intern – Renewable Energy

About the role

Safer Power Ltd is looking for a motivated Finance Intern to support day‑to‑day finance and accounting activities within its renewable energy business. This on‑site role offers practical experience for students or recent graduates pursuing a finance‑related qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily finance and accounting tasks, including reconciliations and invoice processing.
• Support preparation and filing of financial documents and records.
• Help with accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Perform bank, supplier and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules.
• Support invoice processing, payment documentation and filing.
• Enter data and maintain accurate financial records.
• Carry out other finance‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
