Finance Manager – Healthcare

About the role

Our client, a healthcare organization backed by a leading private‑equity firm, is looking for a Finance Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversee all finance functions across the sector. The role will drive financial planning, reporting and risk management to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and administer all financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting and business planning for profit and cost centres.
• Ensure daily financial operations follow approved plans, monitor expenses against budgets and track revenue growth.
• Maintain the integrity of accounting systems, internal controls, cash management and relationships with external auditors.
• Oversee financial, tax and regulatory reporting, as well as compliance with finance manuals and governance requirements.
• Manage cash‑collection programmes, bank and investor relationships, and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Provide strategic input on investments, restructuring and risk assessment, and act as liaison with the Board’s Audit Committee.

Required profile

• CPA or ACCA qualification with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
• Minimum four years of finance experience in a for‑profit organisation.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop finance staff.

Required skills

• CPA/ACCA certification.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems and advanced reporting tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
