Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the finance and accounting function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and strategic financial advice to support business decisions. This role reports to senior management and supervises the finance team, driving process improvements and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain adequate working capital.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and improve finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and resolve audit findings.
• Supervise, mentor, and support the finance team.
• Collaborate with department heads on budgeting and cost‑management initiatives.
• Provide financial insights and strategic advice to senior management.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 48 months of relevant finance experience.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of IFRS, local tax legislation and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to supervise and develop a finance team.
