Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting Tatu City’s financial operations. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Business Analysis, the analyst will analyze business opportunities, develop financial models, create management presentations, and support deal execution in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in financial and commercial analysis of new land sales, development projects, and other opportunities, presenting findings to senior management for approval.
• Collaborate on creating and maintaining business plans and financial models for real estate developments, including core components such as power, water, and telecoms.
• Develop high‑quality presentations for senior management, utilizing financial data and visual aids to communicate insights and updates effectively.
• Contribute to strategy development and implementation for existing and new businesses under senior guidance.
• Support investor relations by maintaining accurate information memoranda for real estate and other projects.
• Participate in deal origination and execution processes, supporting various stages as directed by experienced team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, math, physics, computer science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with valuation methods and principles.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and general accounting practices.
• Solid understanding of finance and financial markets with the ability to apply this knowledge practically.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the real estate or city‑planning industry is a plus; CFA certification is a plus.
