Fleet Supervisor – Manage Vehicle & Motorcycle Fleet

About the role

The Fleet Supervisor will oversee the company's vehicle and motorcycle fleet, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with all regulations. You will work closely with finance, HR, and service providers to keep the fleet operating efficiently and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce the company's fleet policy and report violations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, acquisition, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance with approved service providers.
• Monitor fuel, spare parts, and consumable usage, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, insurance renewals, licences, permits and statutory compliance.
• Manage accident reporting, investigations, insurance claims and key custody.
• Oversee driver/rider licensing, PPE compliance and training programmes.
• Utilise telematics systems to monitor performance and address misuse.
• Prepare periodic performance reports covering fuel consumption, maintenance costs and utilization.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Fleet Management, Transport & Logistics or related field.
• At least three years of experience managing a mixed fleet of vehicles and motorcycles.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, fleet maintenance practices and Kenyan statutory requirements.
• Experience with telematics and fleet management software.
