About the role
The Food & Beverage Supervisor will lead daily restaurant and outlet operations for Hemingways Collection in Nairobi, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant and outlet operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor service standards, outlet setup, cleanliness, and compliance with SOPs.
- Control costs, inventory, breakages and overtime while meeting budget targets.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements and handle guest feedback professionally.
- Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards.
Required profile
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of F&B experience in a 5‑star hotel, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
- HACCP, Train‑the‑Trainer or related certifications are an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Micros POS systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
