Housekeeping Supervisor – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces, ensuring compliance with Pullman, Mercure and Accor brand standards. This on‑site role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and works closely with Front Office and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities, conduct room and area inspections, and maintain cleanliness, safety and presentation standards.
• Allocate assignments, monitor productivity and manage manpower and resources efficiently.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure room readiness and timely maintenance resolution.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and service recovery professionally.
• Manage inventories of linen, guest supplies, cleaning materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, sanitation and environmental sustainability standards.
• Prepare housekeeping reports, lost‑and‑found records and operational documentation.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience in a reputable hotel, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role at a four‑star or five‑star property.
• Experience with international hotel brands is an advantage.
• Knowledge of linen management, inventory control and budgeting principles.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and housekeeping management software.
