Front Desk Sales Clerk

About the role

The Front Desk Sales Clerk will be the first point of contact for customers at PANTECH Kenya Limited. Working full‑time on‑site in Westlands, Nairobi, you will combine reception duties with sales support to ensure smooth front‑office operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors, answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
• Process point‑of‑sale transactions, issue invoices and manage cash sales accurately.
• Maintain up‑to‑date filing systems for financial and sales records, including petty‑cash reconciliation.
• Record and log all sales activities, capture customer information and update orders in the ERP system.
• Coordinate quotations and resolve customer complaints together with the Sales and Production teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
• Assist the Sales Manager with follow‑up on inquiries, orders and after‑sales service.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Entry‑level candidates with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally ERP (or similar accounting/ERP software).
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email).
