Front Office Receptionist – Hotel (3‑Star/4‑Star)

About the role

We are looking for a Front Office professional to join our 3‑star/4‑star hotel in Nairobi’s Westlands district. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and delivering high‑quality service throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, manage arrivals and departures.
• Handle reservations, room assignments and billing using the hotel’s PMS.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate front‑desk records and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Front Office Operations or related field.
• 2–3 years experience as a receptionist in a 3‑star or 4‑star hotel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional appearance.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel management systems (PMS) – an advantage.
