Full Charge Bookkeeper (CPA) – Remote (Kenya)

About the role

Remote Raven, a US‑based accounting firm, is seeking a full‑time Full Charge Bookkeeper (CPA) to work remotely from Kenya. The successful candidate will manage end‑to‑end bookkeeping for small‑business clients in construction, oil & gas, and wellness sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including daily transaction entry, month‑end close, and reporting.
• Maintain construction job costing, track labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment, and support WIP reporting and progress billing.
• Prepare monthly profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements, flag variances, and coordinate with external CPAs.

Required profile

• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online, including company setup, chart of accounts design, class tracking, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Proven experience managing full‑cycle bookkeeping for diverse clients, with specific construction bookkeeping and job‑costing exposure.
• Strong attention to detail, self‑directed, organized, and excellent written communication for client‑facing summaries.
