About the role
The Technical University of Mombasa is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Engineering & Technology (Electrical) to support senior academic staff. This position is designed for a recent Electrical & Electronics Engineering graduate who will pursue a Master’s degree while contributing to teaching and research activities.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior academic staff with assignments and projects allocated by the College of Development (COD).
- Support laboratory sessions, practical demonstrations, and equipment maintenance.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the department.
Required profile
- Upper Second Class Honours B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an accredited university.
- Registered for a Master’s degree program (or willing to enroll).
- Kenyan citizen, aged under 30 years.
- Eligible for registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body.
- Ability to commit to a one‑year fixed‑term contract, renewable up to three years.
