Group Lead Engineer – Production & Quality

About the role

The Group Lead Engineer will direct Jibu’s technical operations across all markets, ensuring product quality and maximum equipment uptime. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the role combines responsibility for production system maintenance, quality assurance, and the introduction of new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, improve and enforce Jibu’s quality management system, SOPs and testing protocols across all countries.
• Monitor product quality metrics, conduct shelf‑life, packaging and water‑usage research, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maximise equipment uptime by creating and coordinating preventive‑maintenance schedules and service plans with country teams and partners.
• Produce troubleshooting guides, repair manuals and training content (including videos) for all production sites.
• Design and optimise water‑treatment systems, select components, and implement on‑site solutions for varying raw‑water sources.
• Lead hardware and process change projects, ensuring systematic rollout across all production locations.
• Support international expansion by coordinating raw‑water testing and advising on equipment specifications for new markets.
