Head, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)

About the role

The Head of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) will lead KCB Group’s FMCG sector strategy within Corporate Banking. Reporting to senior management, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability and client relationship excellence across the FMCG portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the FMCG sector strategy aligned with the overall corporate banking plan.
• Achieve annual business targets for revenue, fees, profit before tax, assets, liabilities and customer numbers.
• Oversee client deal execution, cross‑selling, and ecosystem banking of existing and new products.
• Design client marketing plans, manage pricing and return on equity, and ensure overall client profitability.
• Conduct risk reviews of the client base and maintain portfolio quality within NPL and PAR limits.
• Lead, coach and manage the relationship‑management team, including recruitment, performance appraisal and talent development.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality credit proposals that comply with Credit Policy guidelines.

Required profile

• University degree from a recognized institution; a Master’s in Finance or Business is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of banking/financial services experience, with at least 6 years in senior management roles focused on FMCG sub‑sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting business growth and profitability targets.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, market trends and risk management.
• Demonstrated leadership, people management and cross‑cultural communication skills.
