Head of Banking Alliances

About the role

Yabx, a global FinTech venture focused on expanding financial access in emerging markets, is seeking a Head of Banking Alliances. You will lead the strategy and execution of partnerships with banks and other funding institutions to fuel our loan portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for bank CXOs, managing and expanding existing banking relationships.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive capital roadmap and investment strategy to optimise loan volume and revenue.
• Lead end‑to‑end capital‑raising processes, including sourcing, structuring and executing funding transactions with local banks and institutional investors.
• Negotiate and structure commercial terms such as revenue shares and interest rates, creating innovative solutions for non‑standard funding needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including business, finance, data science, and engineering to ensure seamless fund flow.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of transactional experience in consumer banking and/or capital markets.
• Strong personal network with banks and financial service providers across Africa.
• Proven ability to manage senior‑level relationships and drive large‑scale funding initiatives.
