Head of Business Development & Marketing

About the role

A well‑established TVET institution in Kenya is seeking a dynamic, commercially focused professional to lead business growth, marketing, student recruitment and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development, sales and marketing plans to achieve enrolment targets.
• Lead digital marketing, outreach activities and coordinate recruitment across multiple branches.
• Identify new markets, recruitment channels and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee lead generation, sales pipelines, conversion performance and monitor market trends.
• Manage and hold the sales and marketing team accountable for KPIs and budget utilisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Valid TVETA Trainer/Instructor Licence and recognised Pedagogy Certification.
• Proven experience in business development, marketing, sales or student recruitment with a track record of meeting growth targets.
• Strong leadership, analytical and results‑oriented approach.
