Head of Cash Products – Kenya & East Africa

About the role

The Head of Cash Products will lead cash management and transaction banking across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Reporting to senior leadership, the role drives product strategy, development and commercial performance while ensuring compliance with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the cash product strategy, covering payments, collections, liquidity and transactional FX.
• Lead product lifecycle management, from origination through launch and ongoing enhancement.
• Partner with Sales, Coverage, ALCO, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Legal to structure complex client deals and grow revenue.
• Monitor service standards, competitive pricing and regulatory changes to maintain market leadership.
• Own client‑level revenue, fees and balance‑sheet growth, and report performance against budget.

Required profile

• Business degree with at least 8 years of banking experience, including cash management and transaction banking.
• Proven senior leadership experience managing cross‑border product portfolios.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence regulators and industry bodies.
