About the role
The Head of Corporate Sales & Public Sector reports to the Enterprise Director and is responsible for driving market share through aggressive sales and profitability targets. The role focuses on capturing customer, revenue, and product penetration indices across corporate and public‑sector accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Define key‑account management parameters and coordinate sales forecasts, targets, and action plans.
- Develop and implement cost‑efficient route‑to‑market and tactical sales plans.
- Build target client lists, provide product, pricing, and engagement input based on market intelligence.
- Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing corporate and public‑sector customers.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify customer needs and propose solutions.
- Design loyalty programmes and brand‑building schemes for identified segments.
- Interpret customer satisfaction indices to refine value propositions.
- Validate new market opportunities, qualify sales leads, and achieve quantitative and qualitative sales quotas.
- Work with key‑account and relationship managers to protect and grow baseline revenues.
- Support collection and recovery efforts to avoid bad debt.
- Ensure strict adherence to sales processes, policies, and alignment with corporate direction.
- Partner with HR to recruit, coach, and manage a high‑performing sales team.
Required profile
- Business‑related graduate degree.
- 6‑8 years of corporate sales experience or at least 5 years in telecom sales.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of corporate governance standards.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with solid problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent leadership, networking, and relationship‑management skills.
- Ability to engage senior‑level management and drive customer‑centric initiatives.
