About the role
The Regional Sales Head reports to the Enterprise Director and is responsible for establishing and expanding Airtel Business’s market share across the enterprise segment in the assigned region. The role leads a ground team to acquire, grow, and manage B2B customers, ensuring full accountability for regional revenue, brand equity, and customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Define corporate and SME segmentation, manage direct and indirect sales channels.
- Develop initiatives to increase B2B customer base and market share.
- Provide strategic support to the sales team to meet regional targets.
- Deploy metrics to monitor progress and recommend remedial actions.
- Manage the Account Development Plan (ADP) and ensure timely monthly submissions.
- Oversee execution of B2B contracts, collections, and receivables.
- Organise executive‑level service review meetings for key strategic accounts.
- Implement governance frameworks for service delivery, customer retention, and win‑backs.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend counter‑measures.
- Act as the single point of contact for all operational activities across stakeholder departments.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of telecom product sales experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial B2B sales role.
- Strong understanding of the telecom value chain.
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and presentation skills.
- Data‑centric with strong planning and organisational abilities.
- Team player, result‑driven with strong business acumen.
