About the role

The Head of Department (HOD) for the School of Health will lead the academic and administrative functions of the health programmes. This senior position reports to senior management and is responsible for ensuring the school operates efficiently and meets its educational objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, monitor and manage the annual budget and financial resources for the School of Health.
  • Provide strong leadership to faculty and staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure compliance with TVETA regulations and maintain the required TVETA registration number.

Required profile

  • Holder of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in a health‑related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in health education or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated high‑level leadership abilities.
  • Valid TVETA registration number.
