Head of Sales

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead Peach’s country‑wide sales strategy, execution and growth agenda in Nairobi. This senior position combines strategic leadership, operational management and commercial experimentation to scale vehicle sales and improve the customer experience across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the country sales strategy aligned with Peach’s broader growth ambitions.
• Develop annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans with clear targets, KPIs and ownership structures.
• Design and continuously optimise sales organisational structures, role clarity and accountability frameworks.
• Define commercial levers such as pricing, take‑rate optimisation, vehicle‑class strategies, compensation structures and channel mix.
• Establish forecasting and reporting frameworks for units sold, conversion rates, GMV, take‑rate and profitability.
• Build and institutionalise scalable sales systems, SOPs, workflows and governance across all locations.
• Standardise customer journeys, sales processes, escalation pathways and operational execution frameworks.
• Partner with Product and IT teams to improve CRM utilisation, reporting visibility, tooling effectiveness and workflow automation.
• Implement performance‑management mechanisms including KPI tracking, review cadences and coaching frameworks.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to boost conversion, turnaround time, quality and customer experience.
• Lead day‑to‑day sales operations to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual commercial targets.
• Manage and coach Sales Managers and team leads through regular performance reviews, one‑on‑ones and pipeline reviews.
