Head of Supply Chain

About the role

Victory Farms is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead end‑to‑end logistics, procurement and import operations for its fresh‑fish business in Kenya. You will ensure the cold‑chain integrity of fish distribution, secure feed and material supplies, and optimise the company’s transport fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily distribution of fresh fish nationwide, maintaining cold‑chain and freshness.
• Manage inbound feed logistics from local mills and imports to prevent shortages.
• Oversee inbound logistics of all materials from local and international suppliers.
• Own fleet and transport strategy, including route planning, vehicle utilisation, 3PL contracts and cost per kilogram.
• Supervise warehousing, stock accuracy, GRN discipline and FEFO/FIFO controls.
• Build and lead the Kenya procurement team, handling category buying, local‑for‑local sourcing and P2P analysis.
• Execute group‑led framework agreements for feed, CapEx and major imports.
• Own the full import process: documentation, HS‑code classification, customs clearance via KRA iCMS, and regulatory approvals.
• Control demurrage, storage and detention through disciplined clearance planning.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in supply chain, logistics or procurement (as indicated in posting).
• Proven ability to manage complex import and customs procedures in Kenya.
• Strong organisational discipline and audit‑ready record keeping.
