Health Specialist – Community Health Delivery Partnership (Remote)

About the role

The Health Specialist will support UNICEF’s Community Health Delivery Partnership (CHDP) by providing technical assistance and coordinating day‑to‑day activities across the global network. Working remotely, the incumbent will help strengthen community‑based primary health‑care systems, align investments with country priorities and foster collaboration among partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate country and partner engagement for the CHDP platform.
• Facilitate linkages between CHDP and related UNICEF initiatives and external programmes.
• Provide technical guidance on community health system strengthening, policy reform and programme design.
• Monitor and report on investment flows and progress toward health‑related SDG targets.
• Support the development of tools, guidelines and best‑practice resources for community health delivery.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in public health, medicine, health systems or a related field.
• Significant experience in community health, health‑systems strengthening or similar programmes, preferably within UN, NGO or international development contexts.
• Proven ability to work remotely and manage multi‑stakeholder partnerships.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
