Hotel Supervisor

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Hotel Supervisor in the hospitality industry, based on Thika Road. The role covers day-to-day hotel operations, guest relations, staff supervision and basic housekeeping and food and beverage coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day hotel operations, monitor adherence to policies and procedures, and coordinate activities across departments
• Ensure guests receive professional, friendly and efficient service, handle inquiries and complaints promptly, and improve customer satisfaction
• Supervise front office, housekeeping, restaurant and support staff, prepare duty rosters, and train and mentor team members
• Keep rooms, public areas and facilities clean and safe, inspect them regularly and follow up on maintenance issues
• Support restaurant, bar and catering services and maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Monitor stock levels of housekeeping, food and beverage supplies, assist with stock-taking and minimise wastage
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hospitality regulations and handle incidents and emergencies
• Prepare daily operational and shift handover reports, keep records of guest feedback and staff performance, and help management implement improvements

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the hospitality industry
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role within a hotel, lodge, resort or serviced apartment
• Experience managing guest services and hotel operations is an added advantage
