About the role
The Housekeeping Trainee Program offers a hands‑on learning experience at Villa Rosa Kempinski, a five‑star hotel in Westlands, Nairobi. Under the supervision of the Training Manager and departmental trainer, you will rotate through key housekeeping and laundry operations to develop practical skills.
Key responsibilities
- Clean corridors, public areas and assigned guest rooms, ensuring compliance with Kempinski standards.
- Provide turn‑down service, replenish supplies, and report any maintenance issues.
- Inspect public areas, verify contractor work, and maintain equipment and supply inventories.
- Assist with lost‑and‑found, key control, health & safety procedures, and various housekeeping projects.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Housekeeping Operations (or related coursework) from a recognized institution.
- Kenyan citizenship.
- Less than one year since graduation (2025/2026).
- Positive learning attitude and ability to work in a multinational environment.
Required skills
- Excellent grooming and professional etiquette.
- Good communication skills.
