HR Manager

About the role

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical and professional services, is seeking an HR Manager to serve as a strategic partner for program managers and senior leaders. The role will drive workforce development, promote a diverse and inclusive culture, and ensure HR operations support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with program managers and leadership to foster a diverse, inclusive, and productive workplace.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and company values.
• Provide guidance on workforce challenges, staffing needs, and organizational improvements.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
• Lead employee‑relations investigations and recommend disciplinary actions or coaching.
• Collaborate with recruiters and operations to assess staffing needs and improve recruitment processes.
• Support program start‑up activities and workforce transitions to ensure operational readiness.
• Monitor compliance with local, national, and international labor laws and contractual requirements.
• Facilitate performance‑management processes and training initiatives.
• Manage multiple HR projects while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist duties and strategic leadership.
• Proven ability to collaborate with recruitment, operations, and management teams.
• Strong expertise in employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Excellent communication, confidentiality, and advisory skills.
