About the role
The ICT Specialist (Data & Digital Innovation) will deliver ICT services while driving digital innovation, data analytics, automation, and emerging technology initiatives across the region. The role bridges ICT operations and innovation, translating operational needs into technology‑enabled solutions that support both strategic and humanitarian objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair and monitor ICT equipment; provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support.
- Ensure availability, reliability and optimal performance of ICT systems and services.
- Deliver ICT briefings, user training and technical guidance; prepare help‑desk reports and monitor service performance.
- Maintain ICT inventories, conduct stock checks and keep technical documentation up to date.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Automation and IoT to improve operational efficiency.
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards, data pipelines, analytical tools and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Develop automation solutions using Power Automate, n8n, APIs and scripting.
- Build prototypes, proofs of concept and pilot projects for operational and humanitarian challenges.
- Design and support IoT solutions for telecommunications, logistics, facilities, security and operational monitoring.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering ICT services and technical support.
- Strong background in data analytics, AI, Machine Learning and automation.
- Ability to translate operational needs into practical technology solutions.
- Experience working in a multi‑stakeholder, humanitarian or international environment is a plus.
