ICT Support Officer

About the role

Username Investments Ltd is seeking an ICT Support Officer to join its Nairobi office. You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, providing first‑line technical assistance, and ensuring reliable network and system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, servers, and other IT equipment.
• Perform regular data backup, system updates, and basic security checks.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base.
• Collaborate with external vendors for escalated technical problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in end‑user technical support, network administration, and hardware maintenance.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CompTIA Server+ or Google IT Support.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward system improvements.
