ICT Tutor

About the role

The college is seeking an ICT Tutor to deliver both theoretical and practical training to diploma and certificate students. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and assessing student performance in a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials.
• Deliver theory and practical lessons to diploma and certificate students.
• Assess students through assignments, practicals, tests, and examinations.
• Maintain students' academic records and progress reports.
• Supervise projects, industrial attachments, and practical activities.
• Participate in curriculum implementation and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards in workshops and laboratories.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in ICT, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a college or training institution.
• Strong knowledge of computer applications, networking, computer maintenance, and programming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and deliver effective lessons and assessments.
