Information Management Consultant (Hybrid, Nairobi)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an Information Management Consultant to provide cross‑sectoral technical expertise for designing, refining and institutionalising advanced information management and analytical systems. The role supports all programme and corporate sections, focusing on data integration, analytical capacity and automated tools for evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring high data quality.
• Develop and enhance information systems to support programme, financial and partner data.
• Perform data analysis and produce reporting dashboards.
• Engage with stakeholders to align data solutions with operational needs.
• Strengthen capacity through knowledge transfer and training.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s) in Data Science, Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science, Economics, Monitoring & Evaluation or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in information management, data analytics or monitoring & evaluation.
• Proven experience designing data integration systems and working with large, complex datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct cross‑sectoral analysis linking programme results, reach and financial data.
• Fluent English.
