Information Security Engineer – up to €160K (Germany)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team in Darmstadt, Germany. The role focuses on designing and operating security services for satellite ground segments, cloud environments and big‑data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert for information security incident detection and response.
• Lead the full vulnerability‑management lifecycle, improving detection and remediation capabilities.
• Supervise and coordinate the implementation of innovative security solutions within the Security Operations Centre.
• Research emerging technologies, including Machine Learning, and integrate them into security operations.
• Maintain relationships with specialist security forums and groups.

Required profile

• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Proven experience in information security, incident handling and vulnerability management.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
