About the role
Access Bank is hiring an Information Technology Risk Officer based in Westlands, Nairobi. The role sits at the intersection of IT security, risk and assurance within a banking environment.
Required profile
- A first degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
- At least 2 years' experience in IT risk, security or assurance within a banking or regulated environment.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISM or CEH are an added advantage.
Required skills
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT governance.
- Ability to identify and assess IT system vulnerabilities and threats.
- Knowledge of IT control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST and ISO 27001.
- Experience in risk assessment and control testing.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with business continuity planning and IT disaster recovery.
