About the role
Aga Khan Academy Mombasa is recruiting an ICT Support Associate based in Kisumu, Westlands. The role covers the installation, configuration and maintenance of ICT hardware, software and networks, as well as user support, asset management and training of non-technical users.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain ICT hardware, software and networks
- Manage ICT assets, keep accurate inventory and coordinate equipment repairs
- Deliver user support, develop ICT procedures and train non-technical users
- Manage server infrastructure and wireless access points (e.g. Aruba networks)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors and respond proactively to emergencies
Required profile
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Proven experience managing network infrastructure and user support in an institutional setting
- Previous experience in a school environment is an added advantage
Required skills
- Cybersecurity best practices and data protection compliance
- Familiarity with server infrastructure and wireless access point management (e.g. Aruba)
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft Systems Engineering or ITIL are an added advantage
