Inside Sales Executive (M/F)

About the role

AGL (Africa Global Logistics), a multimodal logistics operator (port, logistics, maritime and rail) in Africa and part of the MSC Group, is hiring an Inside Sales Executive in Nairobi on a fixed-term contract. The role is full-time and focuses on generating leads, processing tenders and supporting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Process and document tenders awaiting approval, and process commercial reports on a weekly basis.
• Follow up on client shipment status occasionally and advise clients accordingly.
• Organize commercial meetings and take minutes on a weekly basis.
• Handle inquiries and follow up with potential customers by call, email and CRM updates.
• Make calls to generate leads and qualify prospects, and understand customer needs to recommend relevant services.
• Create and deliver sales presentations and product demos where applicable.
• Maintain a strong lead pipeline through CRM management and documentation.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for leads, conversions and revenue.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, webinars and lead-generation activities, and build long-term customer relationships.
• Provide follow-ups, quotations, pricing and commercial proposals, and share sales reports and forecasts with management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, administration or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in inside sales and in the logistics industry.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools.
