About the role
The Kenya College of Interior Design (KENCID) is seeking an enthusiastic Interior Design Trainer to join its faculty in Westlands, Nairobi. You will guide students through the fundamentals and advanced techniques of interior design, helping them translate creative ideas into professional projects.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and design training programmes aligned with curriculum goals.
- Deliver engaging classroom sessions and practical workshops.
- Develop curriculum materials, teaching guidelines, and assessment tools.
- Conduct training needs analysis to continuously improve course content.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
- Teaching qualification preferred (DTTE/PGDE).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience or 3 years of industry experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Archicad.
- Proficiency with SketchUp.
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
