Internal Auditor II – Financial Reporting Centre

About the role

The Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) is hiring an Internal Auditor II for a full-time position in Nairobi. This is the entry and training grade of the internal audit cadre: the officer works under the guidance of a designated supervisor. The deadline for applications is 16 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake audit assignments in line with the approved audit work plan.
• Contribute to the preparation of audit reports for audit engagements.
• Evaluate the progress and effectiveness of actions taken to implement audit recommendations from internal and external audits.
• Assist in information systems audit engagements, including testing and evaluation of programmes, quality assurance and reporting of results.
• Assist in implementing new technologies and business applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (Finance & Accounting option), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
