About the role
The Internal Auditor will report to the Senior Auditor and execute audit plans across KTDA Management Services headquarters. The role involves assessing internal controls, preparing reports and following up on recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned audits in line with department policies and best practices.
- Examine records, reports and operating practices to ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
- Discuss audit findings with managers or heads of departments and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare draft audit reports and perform post‑audit follow‑up to verify implementation of recommendations.
- Conduct investigative and ad‑hoc audit assignments and maintain work papers and weekly reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field.
- Professional qualification: CPA (K) or ACCA and membership of ICPAK.
- Minimum four years of internal or external audit experience.
- High integrity, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
