Intune Expert Partner

About the role

An international non-governmental organization, represented by Stratostaff East Africa, is looking for an Intune Expert Partner based in Nairobi. The role oversees the client's Microsoft Intune environment and reports to the Head of User Technology Solutions. It manages the day-to-day running and maintenance of Intune and acts as the client's in-house expert, ensuring the security, compliance and efficient management of devices and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Support Technical Support Agents to enroll and manage a wide range of devices on MS Intune, including Windows, macOS, iOS and Android
• Act as an in-house expert, supporting stakeholders across the client's business as required
• Configure device settings and policies to enforce security standards and user experience guidelines
• Oversee device app management, stay up to date with Intune features and execute upgrades where needed
• Implement security policies and device compliance policies to protect devices and data and assess device health and security posture
• Report on Intune metrics such as application usage and performance, and Intune service health and performance
• Manage Intune roles and permissions
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and the wider Digital and Technology teams

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in a technology role, with at least one year as an Intune administrator or similar
• Experience managing device and application deployments
• Knowledge of security best practices and the threat landscape
• Exceptional organizational skills, able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Intune and its core functionalities
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation preferred
