About the role
The Independent Policing Oversight Authority seeks an Investigations Officer II to conduct investigations into police misconduct and related complaints in Nairobi.
Key responsibilities
- Implement strategies, policies, manuals, plans, standards and procedures for investigations.
- Conduct investigations of complaints on police misconduct and collect, collate, and draft reports.
- Update internal case tracking system and support prosecution processes in court.
- Maintain investigative records, ensure safe custody, and implement risk mitigation measures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Social Science or related field from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
