IT Administrator

About the role

Q-Sourcing, a manpower management solutions firm operating across East Africa, is recruiting an experienced IT Administrator in Nairobi on behalf of its client. The role supports the daily operation of the IT infrastructure, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading hardware and equipment so that the hotel runs smoothly and the group of companies benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Implement disaster recovery plans in line with the business continuity policy when asked by the Group IT Manager.
• Coordinate and document security updates for software and infrastructure devices when required.
• Develop, organize and implement training schedules for IT staff on new infrastructure, software or hardware changes.
• Coordinate all IT-related opex and capex payments on time.
• Schedule IT maintenance works within the organization's budget and timeframes.
• Coordinate the IT functions needed to support the group.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or Computer Science.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in systems administration support.
• 1 to 2 years of project management experience.

Required skills

• Systems administration support.
• An additional networking certification is beneficial.
