IT Consultant

About the role

The IT Consultant will deliver technical support and deployment services for Craft Legacy Limited’s software solutions. Working both on‑site at client locations and from the office, you will ensure successful installations, user training and ongoing support while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure Windows operating systems, drivers, and SQL Server databases on PCs and POS terminals.
• Manage and maintain databases, performing backup, restore, performance tuning and scripting for data correction and reporting.
• Design, customize and troubleshoot Crystal Reports for POS/ERP applications, collaborating with the software team.
• Provide on‑site and remote customer support, train users on POS system operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Set up and troubleshoot LAN/Wi‑Fi networks, routers and switches, and resolve hardware issues with PCs and peripherals.
• Document all installations, configurations and site visits, maintaining accurate records of updates and client feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in IT support or system installation, preferably with POS/ERP solutions.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and flexibility to work beyond normal hours when required.

Required skills

• Computer hardware assembly and troubleshooting.
• Computer networking (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches).
• MS SQL Server installation, configuration, management and SQL scripting.
• Crystal Reports design and customization.
• Windows Firewall and security configuration.
