IT, Data & Systems Officer

About the role

The IT, Data & Systems Officer will manage Phoenix Capital’s technology ecosystem, ensuring reliable operation of core systems, data integrity, and effective reporting to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain business applications such as Loan Disk, Musoni DFA, SASAPAY, Presta, biometric systems, PABX and CRM.
• Oversee installation, configuration and upkeep of hardware, software, networks and related IT infrastructure.
• Ensure data accuracy, implement user access controls, perform backups, and manage recovery processes.
• Collect, clean and analyse loan, repayment and client data, producing dashboards and reports with Excel and Power BI.
• Coordinate with vendors, monitor SLAs, and drive process improvements through automation.
• Maintain the company website, email platforms and other digital communication tools.
• Provide user training and maintain documentation for systems and procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management or related field.
• Mid‑level experience in IT systems administration, data analysis and business intelligence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.
• Experience managing CRM, PABX, biometric systems and loan management software (Loan Disk, Musoni DFA, SASAPAY, Presta).
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, network configuration and IT security best practices.
