About the role

Join Siemens Industry Software’s Strategic Student Program as an IT Local Support Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in a large‑scale corporate IT environment, helping customers resolve technical issues while developing practical troubleshooting skills.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware problems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
• Ask targeted questions to quickly understand the root cause of problems.
• Track issues through to resolution within agreed time limits.
• Escalate unresolved cases to internal teams such as software developers.
• Provide prompt, accurate feedback and ensure issues are logged correctly.
• Prioritize multiple open tickets and follow up with clients to confirm system functionality.
• Prepare timely reports and document technical knowledge in notes and manuals.

Required profile

• Active university student graduating between August 2027 and December 2027.
• Engineering major with an interest in IT.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong communication skills for customer‑facing interactions.
• Availability to work half‑time in a hybrid setting (Mexico City office and remote).
