IT Project Manager – Midwest US

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead carve‑out and separation projects for our portfolio companies across the Midwest United States. You will work closely with local management teams, the Chief Restructuring Officer and the M&A team to shape digital target states and ensure successful implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Drive IT carve‑out and separation projects together with local management teams and portfolio companies.
• Analyse data structures, processes and tools of portfolio companies and develop digital target pictures.
• Plan and manage IT budgets in collaboration with the CRO and local IT teams.
• Develop IT governance and audit frameworks; conduct regular IT audits across portfolio companies.
• Support M&A activities by performing IT due diligences and assessing IT‑related risks and value‑creation opportunities.

Required profile

• Successfully completed a degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field with outstanding results.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate, consulting or IT‑related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills combined with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Business fluency in English and ability to communicate concisely.
• Willingness to travel up to four days per week and work in an international environment.
