IT Security Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Security Operations Specialist to lead and enhance the security posture of our rapidly scaling infrastructure. Operating in TL IV classified environments, you will be the single accountable owner for all internal IT security operations, reporting directly to IT Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage a SIEM solution, perform daily alert triage, and integrate threat intelligence.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning, track remediation, coordinate penetration testing, and maintain incident response playbooks.
• Administer EPP/EDR tools, enforce endpoint hardening, BYOD policies, encryption, MFA, PAM, RBAC, and access recertifications.
• Review firewall rules, ensure network segmentation, and manage email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and DLP.
• Handle access controls, logging, and incident procedures for TL IV classified environments while developing IT security policies and conducting phishing simulations.
• Maintain ISO 27001 Annex A controls and perform security reviews for new software tools and vendors.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in IT security operations or SecOps.
• Strong written and spoken English; Finnish is a plus.
• Experience working in highly regulated or classified environments.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic, Wazuh.
• Vulnerability management tools: Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7.
• EDR/EPP solutions: CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender.
• Identity and Access Management: SSO, MFA, RBAC, PAM, Directory Services.
• Cloud security: Azure, GCP, AWS and CSPM tools.
• Network security: firewall rule reviews, network segmentation, email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), DLP.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 Annex A controls and security policy writing.
