About the role
We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Music Teacher to join our Junior School (Grades 1‑6) in Nakuru. The role involves fostering a love of music and the arts among young learners while delivering the national Competency‑Based Curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with the CBC.
- Teach piano, keyboard or guitar to junior‑level students.
- Direct the school choir and other ensembles.
- Prepare learners for school events, concerts and music festivals.
- Assess and report on learner progress.
Required profile
- Diploma or Degree in Music Education.
- Valid TSC registration number.
- Experience teaching music to Grades 1‑6.
- Working knowledge of the CBC.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in piano.
- Proficiency in keyboard.
- Proficiency in guitar.
